Well, our vacation is over and we had a great time in Germany. We saw three castles, went to Norderney, took a drive along the North Sea coast through Wilhelmshaven, went to a Goldene Hochzeit, drank bier, drank schnapps, ate lots of bread and cheese, did some hiking in Austria, and even did some Geocaching. We utilized about every mode of transportation you can think of while there as well: trains, planes, ships, automobile, and foot.

We’re off to Germany now and I’ll try and upload some pics and updates as time permits. New pics uploaded from my phone will appear here. And if you look over to the left, you’ll see my Twitter updates which is what I’ll use to update our status as time and connectivity permits.

Things are much easier with a bike…

The tickets are purchased and we’ll all be headed that way in May.

And Carson can’t wait. She asks everyday when it’ll be Christmas.

I love this. Although I can think of some fans from a certain school who won’t like it one bit.

Yeah, so I met Jim Lovell today. You know, the guy from Apollo 13…the one played by Tom Hanks. That’s him in the picture standing next to President Nixon.He gave a great talk about his ordeal during Apollo 13 which was really quite a bit more interesting than the movie if you ask me.

Well our old Canon G6 camera got stolen from our bags on a trip to Austria a few months back. United stepped up though and reimbursed us for the cost of our camera so we decided to get a Digital SLR this time around. We got a Canon 30D and the pictures are turning out quite well, though we’ve still got a ways to go before we learn it all.
